Merlin Entertainments have announced that they plan to build a 12 million dollar Legoland Discovery Centre in Atlanta Georgia.

The new attraction will be located in Phipps Plaza, one of America’s premier shopping destinations in the south east. Work on the new centre will start in July and is expected to be finished by March 2012. The 32,000 square foot attraction will be built on the third floor of the plaza next to the movie theatre.

Aimed at families with children between the ages of three and ten years old, the centre will offer interactive and educational indoor fun experiences. Featuring a 4D theatre and Lego rides the centre will offer a great adventure for families to include in their holiday packages to America.
